Before you start

  1. Be logged in to the right LinkedIn account in your browser.
    • Open linkedin.com. If it shows the wrong person, log out first.
  2. Use a normal web browser, like Safari or Chrome.
    • Connecting does not work inside the Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or Gmail apps’ built-in browser.

Connect it

  1. In BABAV, open Connections. Find the LinkedIn card. Tap Connect →.
  2. LinkedIn asks you to sign in if needed, then shows what BABAV wants to do.
  3. Tap Allow.
  4. You come back to BABAV and see “Connected LinkedIn!”.

Reconnect about every 60 days

LinkedIn access lasts about 60 days. The card shows “Expires in …” when it gets close.

On your phone

  • When the LinkedIn card says Reconnect needed, tap Reconnect →.

Did it work?

  • The LinkedIn card shows your name.

Fix a problem

  1. LinkedIn access lasts about 60 days, then it needs a fresh sign-in. Also check this if posts stop appearing on LinkedIn.
  2. Tap Reconnect → on the card and sign in again. You do not need to disconnect first.

  1. LinkedIn did not finish handing over access. Wait a minute and tap Connect → again.

  1. Most of the time this means Cancel or Don’t allow was tapped on the LinkedIn screen, or a box was left unticked.
  2. Tap Connect → again. Tick every box, then tap the button that allows access.
  3. Seeing it again after that? Email support@babav.co with a screenshot.

  1. You opened BABAV inside another app, like Instagram, Facebook or Gmail. Google and Meta block connecting there.
  2. Tap the ••• menu and choose Open in browser. Or copy app.babav.co/dashboard#connections into Safari or Chrome.
  3. Log in and tap Connect → again.
