Connect Pinterest

BABAV turns your images into Pins on a board you choose. You approve every Pin before it goes up.

Heads upPinterest is in testing. You only see the Pinterest card once it is switched on for your account. Pinterest wants a person to choose every Pin, so each Pin waits in Approvals until you approve it — even if the rest of BABAV runs on autopilot. BABAV only posts Pins: Pinterest does not let apps answer comments or messages.

Before you start

  1. A Pinterest account, logged in in your browser.
  2. At least one board on that account.
    • No board yet? On Pinterest, tap your profile, then +, then Board.
  3. Use a normal web browser, like Safari or Chrome.
    • Connecting does not work inside the Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or Gmail apps’ built-in browser.

Connect it

  1. In BABAV, open Connections. Find the Pinterest card. Tap Connect →.
  2. Pinterest opens and shows what BABAV wants to do. Check the account name.
  3. Tap Give access. (The button name can vary a little.)
  4. You come back to BABAV and see “Connected Pinterest!”.
  5. BABAV asks which board your Pins go to. Pick one and tap Save. You can change it later with the Board button on the card.

Approve each Pin

Pinterest’s rules say a person must choose each Pin. BABAV never pins on its own.

On a computer

  • In BABAV, open Approvals. Each Pin shows its image and text. Approve Pins one at a time — Accept all skips Pins on purpose.

Did it work?

  • The Pinterest card shows your handle, like @yourname, and a Board button.

Fix a problem

  1. Pinterest is still being tested. Nothing on your side will change it.
  2. Email support@babav.co if you want to try it early.

  1. Make a board on Pinterest first, then tap Board on the Pinterest card again.

  1. Most of the time this means Cancel or Don’t allow was tapped on the Pinterest screen, or a box was left unticked.
  2. Tap Connect → again. Tick every box, then tap the button that allows access.
  3. Seeing it again after that? Email support@babav.co with a screenshot.

  1. BABAV’s access to Pinterest ran out or was removed.
  2. Tap Reconnect → on the card and sign in again. You do not need to disconnect first.

  1. You opened BABAV inside another app, like Instagram, Facebook or Gmail. Google and Meta block connecting there.
  2. Tap the ••• menu and choose Open in browser. Or copy app.babav.co/dashboard#connections into Safari or Chrome.
  3. Log in and tap Connect → again.
