Before you start

  1. Be logged in to the right X account in your browser.
    • Open x.com in the browser you will use. If it shows the wrong account, log out first.
  2. Use a normal web browser, like Safari or Chrome.
    • Connecting does not work inside the Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or Gmail apps’ built-in browser.

Connect it

  1. In BABAV, open Connections. Find the X card. Tap Connect →.
  2. X shows what BABAV wants to do, and which account you are using. Check the account.
  3. Tap the button to authorize BABAV.
  4. You come back to BABAV and see “Connected X!”.

On your phone

  • In X: Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → BABAV.

On a computer

  • Same path on x.com.

Did it work?

  • The X card shows your @handle.

Fix a problem

  1. Tap Disconnect on the X card.
  2. Log out of x.com in your browser. Log in to the right account.
  3. Tap Connect → again.

  1. Most of the time this means Cancel or Don’t allow was tapped on the X screen, or a box was left unticked.
  2. Tap Connect → again. Tick every box, then tap the button that allows access.
  3. Seeing it again after that? Email support@babav.co with a screenshot.

  1. This one is on us, not you. Nothing on your side will change it.
  2. Email support@babav.co and we will tell you when it is fixed.

  1. BABAV’s access to X ran out or was removed.
  2. Tap Reconnect → on the card and sign in again. You do not need to disconnect first.

  1. You opened BABAV inside another app, like Instagram, Facebook or Gmail. Google and Meta block connecting there.
  2. Tap the ••• menu and choose Open in browser. Or copy app.babav.co/dashboard#connections into Safari or Chrome.
  3. Log in and tap Connect → again.
